Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about cost, risk, timelines, liability, and compliance.

How much does it cost to install?
$5,000–$50,000 per station — and EZCharging covers it all.
Who pays for installation?
We do: chargers, permits, trenching, signage, insurance, and maintenance.
Will my electric bill increase?
No. A dedicated sub-meter tracks EV usage; costs are reimbursed from charging revenue.
How is revenue shared?
After electricity costs, profits are split (xx% landlord / xx% EZCharging). Paid monthly with transparent reports.
How long does installation take?
3–6 months end-to-end; 2–4 weeks of on-site construction.
What if demand is low?
No risk to you. We carry ROI risk; you still receive your share.
What about liability?
EZCharging provides general liability insurance naming the landlord as additionally insured.
Will EV stalls reduce parking?
Typically under 10% of spaces, ADA-compliant and near entrances.
Why do this now?
NYC Local Law 55 requires 20% EV-ready spaces by 2035. Early adoption = profit + compliance.
